Here is the Timetable for Yoga With Gurjinder in 2019.
Classes begin on 2nd January till April 12th.
There are no classes during the winter break.
It is a 14 week course of Vinyasa Flow/Hatha Fusion, Restorative & Yin Yoga Classes ,
Gentle Beginners Yoga & Power Vinyasa.
In the Vinyasa Flow/Hatha Fusion Classes you will work the whole body .
You will work on developing a particular concept,theme,understanding in each class.
You will have a focus /a theme which could be hips, shoulders, upper back or core etc.
You move slowly, intelligently in a structured way.
You will learn to synchronise breath with movement as you discover greater ease in
And then you will flow mindfully …. without rushing so that you really feel your beautiful
breath and get the opportunity to “tune in” body,mind & heart.
Vinyasa Flow/ Hatha Fusion Classes with Gurjinder emphasise breath and
mindful,intelligently sequenced movement.
Helping you to develop greater focus,strength & flexibility of body,mind and heart.
Designed for students who are looking for developing a greater understanding of
simple foundational postures first & learning correct alignment for their body …. step
by step building on the basic postures of the practice.
Designed for those students who feel they are ready to get moving!
Those who want to shift stagnant energy that can accumulate after all the sitting in
cars, on sofas and in chairs that we all do a little too much at times!!!
Suitable for all levels of students who want to learn simple ways to take care of
themselves … naturally through,breath,movement and intention/focus.
Gentle / Beginners Yoga With Gurjinder emphasise slow mindful movement.
Postures are broken down into stages/steps making them more accessible for everyone.
Poses are modified where necessary with the use of props etc.
There is more explanation of how to get into and out of poses/shapes/asana safely.
Designed for students to be able to ask more questions during the class as we go so
that they actually understand what they are doing and what the main focus of the
shape/asana is at any given time during the practice.
Designed for students who want to move mindfully … strengthening muscles &
improving flexibility naturally through gentle movement and breath work.
This class is suitable for beginners, for seniors or for students who are recovering from
injury/illness because we move slowly … we do not do as much vinyasa flow in this
class necessarily but we do soothe, relax & energise the body,mind and heart as we
connect deeply to all that we truly are!!!
Restorative & Yin Yoga With Gurjinder emphasises slowing down.
Sometimes we will focus on Restorative Poses & sometimes we will practice more Yin
They are not the same thing!
Working on passive poses aimed at helping you to calm the nervous system & work
towards a feeling of balance within your body,mind & heart.
You will focus on breath, meditation and stillness supported with props such as
bolsters, blocks,& cushions etc.
This course is for all students …. beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.
Yin Yoga works more on longer holds which effect the connective tissue of the
physical body …. helping you to soothe, relax and energise body,mind and heart ……
slowly without force.
This is a deep practice of release that is slow paced.
This is a great compliment to the more yang styles of yoga practice.

Root to Crown (8 Week Course)
This is a new 8 week course which is being offered in 2019 to help you find balance
within your energy body.
In this 8 – week Course we will explore the subtle energy centers of the body, the
chakra system,and learn practical tools for opening and healing.
The chakras are seven subtle energy centres in your body that affect your
physical,emotional,mental and spiritual well-being.
Your chakras show you where you are holding on to “stuff”,where you are
avoiding”stuff”,and where you are shutting down,resulting in
confusion,depression,imbalance and low energy.
When you begin to work on your chakras, your energy begins to flow more
By awakening the chakras through special techniques such as yoga,breath
work,intention and focus, journaling,chakradance,meditation,mantras and group
discussion,you will cleanse and balance your 7 chakras as
stagnant energy begins to move/shift.
You will begin to feel a greater sense of clarity,positivity and peace .

we will be exploring in this 8 week course….and begin to see,feel and experience
We will focus on one specific energy centre each week.
Each week we will use meditation, yoga and breath work & creative movement to
activate specific energy centers (chakras) to help find balance, center and heal.
Each class will begin with a grounding and centering meditation to help you slow down
and focus on yourself/your energy.
There will be a little information about the main characteristics of the chakra we are
focusing on each week.
Each week we will include movement & meditation skills to help bring focus and
expansion to the area of body governed by the specific chakra.
It will be focused on helping to balance the energy of your Chakras so that you are
able to discover if you are focusing on one particular chakra maybe too much or
whether one chakra is a little congested .
