A little story ......
I studied Art & Design as my main subject at college when I did my Bachelor of Education Degree in 1984.
I was a primary school teacher initially, many moons ago!
Travelled the world .... got married..... started a family ....got a beautiful dog ..... travelled some more.
Began to practice Yoga.
LOVED HOW IT MADE ME FEEL & decided I wanted to share my practice with others in the hope that it would help them as it was helping me in my life.
Began to teach .... forgot all about my love for art and creating.
I have not painted or played with colours since I graduated in 1988!
However, during this surreal period in history ,with Covid 19 and all the changes ..... I was diagnosed with Cancer.
It all happened very quickly .... diagnoses, surgery ..... and my life changed.
But all is good.
NOW.
I have good days and not so good days .... that is life!
We all do!
During this time I rediscovered my passion for playing with colours & paints.
Passion for creating marks, lines, patterns.
I have found it so comforting to simply allow myself to play again & make quite a mess in my makeshift studio in the basement!
Without judging myself or whatever I create.
I offer beautiful weekend courses of Yoga Meditation & Art again in the hope that the practice serves not just me but others too!
I have set up a little gallery of my artwork at Gurjinder Yoga Studio .
These paintings/pictures are all for sale.

I am donating 10% of the cost of each painting to Cancer Research.
